Before Your First Visit
Thank you for considering Stratton Chiropractic Clinic and allowing us the opportunity to help you.
Here are a few things to know or gather before your first visit.
What to expect
- New patient visits typically last 45-60 minutes.
- They include an initial examination and treatment if clinically appropriate.
- X-rays are not a required part of the examination, but they may be ordered if clinically necessary.
New Patient Forms
Your initial paperwork will be sent via text and/or email once a new patient appointment is scheduled.

Insurance
We participate with:
- Medicare (but not Wellcare)
- Blue Cross Blue Shield (but
not Blue Care Network) - United Healthcare (but not UHC Medicare Advantage)
- UMR
- Priority Health
- Cigna
If the insurance carrier is not listed above, we do not participate with them*.
We do not submit claims for any insurance we do not participate in.
We can provide a receipt if you choose to submit a claim on your own.
Out-of-Network
Some examples of plans we are not in-network with are (but not limited to):
- Medicaid
- Wellcare
- Aetna
- Humana
- Cofinity
- ASR
- Blue Care Network
- PCHS
*This does not apply to Medicare secondary plans, however. Please reach out to see if we participate with your secondary.
Auto accident:
We do not participate with any auto insurers so all claims will be billed as non-participating. The patient will be responsible for any non-covered services.
Workers Compensation / Personal Injury:
We do not treat cases involving Workers’ Compensation or Personal Injury litigious cases.
Payment
Financial Hardship:
We have a discount available for those who qualify for Medicaid. Proof of enrollment is required.
Self-pay / non-covered services:
Services that are self-pay or are not covered by insurance may be eligible for a time-of-service discount. The services must be paid in full at the time of the visit to qualify.
