Before Your First Visit
Thank you for considering Stratton Chiropractic Clinic and allowing us the opportunity to help you.
Here are a few things to know or gather before your first visit.
- New patient visits typically last 45-60 minutes.
- They include an initial examination and treatment if clinically appropriate.
- X-rays are not a required part of the examination, but they may be ordered if clinically necessary.
We participate with:
- Medicare (but not Wellcare)
- Blue Cross Blue Shield (but
not Blue Care Network)
- United Healthcare
- Priority Health
If the insurance carrier is not listed above, we do not participate with them*.
We do not submit claims for any insurance we do not participate in.
We can provide a receipt if you choose to submit a claim on your own.
Some examples of plans we are not in-network with are (but not limited to):
- Blue Care Network
*This does not apply to Medicare secondary plans, however. Please reach out to see if we participate with your secondary.
We do not participate with any auto insurers so all claims will be billed as non-participating. The patient will be responsible for any non-covered services.
Workers Compensation / Personal Injury:
We do not treat cases involving Workers’ Compensation or Personal Injury litigious cases.
We have a discount available for those who qualify for Medicaid. Proof of enrollment is required.
Self-pay / non-covered services:
Services that are self-pay or are not covered by insurance may be eligible for a time-of-service discount. The services must be paid in full at the time of the visit to qualify.
